The Nabni B4P Facility/NRC is looking for a leader passionate about social cohesion an expert in peace programming and building partnerships with local actors and driving systems change to guide the Nabni Facility as Head of Programmes and Learning. This is not your orthodox Head of Programmes role.
TheNabniBuilding for Peace (B4P) Facility is a grant-making initiative that aims at strengthening social cohesion andlocally ledreconstruction processes in conflict-impacted communities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) exclusively with local non-government organisations. Itsworkis centredaround three pillars: 1)financing/grant making; 2)technicalassistanceand capacity development; and 3)knowledge exchange andlearning.
AsHead of Programmes and Learning you will hold overall responsibility for strategy focused on peace building technical lead on peace programming initiatives partnerships and learning. This is a role for a creative strategic thinker who can turn ideas into action and nurture collaboration.

What you will do
Setting and oversight of programmatic vision and quality assurance including peace programming B4P approach gender etc
Facility governance policy strategic and external engagement
Design and quality assurance of Facilitys Technical Assistance approach (Pillar 2)
Oversight of MEL and delivery of Facility Learning (Pillar 3)
Oversight of E&S function in Facility

What you will bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in senior management positionssuch as Head of Programme Deputy Chief of Party or equivalentwithin a peacebuilding humanitarian or development organisation including experience managing a team.
Advanced University degree in social sciences international development conflict studies public policy or another related field.
- Proven experience of designing monitoring and implementing programming in the areas of peacebuilding and in conflict analysis is mandatory.
- Prior experience developing or managing partnerships with local and national non-governmental/civil society organisations is mandatory. It is an advantage if these partnerships were in MENA.
- Experience with applying learning and knowledge exchange and a range of approaches to support capacity development needs of local civil society partners.
- Experience and familiarity of working with M&E systems and approaches particularly in post-conflict/development/peacebuilding programmes.
- Experience of post-conflict recovery and reconstruction projects especially in the MENA region.
- Prior experience working with KfW-funded projects/ knowledge of KfW requirements is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse and sometimes remote teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage projects and initiatives and achieve successful outcomes.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
What we offer:
Duty station:Amman Jordan
Contract: Till December 2027. Renewal based on funding and performance.
Travel:30%
Salary/benefits: Grade 11 on NRCs salary scale
