The Opportunity
Our client is a global leader in fluid engineering renowned for delivering mission-critical solutions to the worlds most demanding energy and chemical processing environments. We are seeking a high-calibre Field Service Engineer to serve as a technical authority and site lead for centrifugal compressor overhauls installations and commissioning across the Middle East.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead and supervise multi-disciplinary on-site teams during complex repair and commissioning contracts.
Lifecycle Services: Execute end-to-end service for centrifugal compressors including disassembly internal clearance verification reassembly and high-pressure testing.
Safety Stewardship: Act as the Site Safety Lead; conduct comprehensive Risk Assessments (JSA/TRA) and ensure 100% adherence to both Company and Client HSE protocols.
Customer Excellence: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for tier-one clients (e.g. Aramco SABIC) fostering relationships that drive long-term service growth.
Engineering Solutions: Collaborate with global technical departments to develop on-site Method Statements and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
Reporting & Quality: Compile detailed technical field reports in alignment with the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring all as-found and as-left data is meticulously recorded.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Expertise: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the installation commissioning and maintenance of Centrifugal Compressors. (Experience with reciprocating compressors is a distinct advantage).
Education: Formally recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Operational Depth: Proven track record in managing dry gas seals lube oil systems and high-speed rotor dynamics.
Communication: Fluent professional English (written and verbal) is essential for technical reporting and client negotiations.
Mobility: Based in Dammam with the flexibility to deploy across the Middle East as project requirements dictate.

Reporting: Timely submission of comprehensive client-ready final service reports.
