With a global remote-first workforce and regional hubs in the UK Australia Chile and Ireland we are now expanding our presence in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia a global leader in mining development under Vision 2030.
Your Responsibilities
Technical leadership within a diverse interdisciplinary team
Fostering a healthy stimulating work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
Taking on ownership of implementation/execution of deployments at customer sites
Designing and specifying approaches for achieving modelling aims
Upholding high standards of rigour and ensuring quality work
Working with poor noisy and/or limited data
Applying various mathematical statistical and machine learning techniques to challenging problems
Rapidly developing ideas and iterating towards production
Communicating approaches and results to customers and colleagues
Cooperating with our Product Team and working with our partners
Identifying market opportunities new technologies and approaches which can benefit our product and our customers
Breaking down high-level requirements into tasks with clearly defined completion and success criteria
Working on tasks assigned in the team
Supporting the recruitment onboarding and mentoring of new team members

Physical and empirical models of complex processes and equipment
Machine learning prediction and inference models
Configurable optimizers producing real-time recommendations
Rigorous treatment of uncertainty and errors in physical and machine learning models
Bayesian reconciliation of imprecise measurements
Robust treatment of challenging data sources and messy data
Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
Willingness to travel regularly to mining sites across Saudi Arabia and internationally. A valid driving licence is required due to the remote locations of client operations.
Openness to travel to the United Kingdom for extended training periods particularly during the onboarding phase.
