We are currently looking Senior Network And Security Administrator our Qatar operations.
Education :
- A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field is typically required.
Experience : 5 to 10 years or more.
- Should have several years of experience in Banking network environment and security roles before advancing to a senior position.
This can range from
- NAC and Firewall Exposure are Required Should be good with Avanti Pulse Secure Or Aruba Clear Pass.
Networking Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Certifications like CompTIA Network and CompTIA Security can also be valuable for foundational knowledge.
Security Certifications: Security-focused certifications
- Certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly regarded.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols technologies and architectures is essential.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and firewalls.
- Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and VPN technologies.
- Knowledge of network security best practices including threat detection and mitigation.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
- Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership and team collaboration skills as senior roles often involve mentoring junior staff and leading projects.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in network security and technology as the field is continually evolving.
Cybersecurity Ethics:
- An understanding of ethical hacking and an appreciation for the ethical and legal considerations of cybersecurity.
