Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control Head to lead and manage all quality-related functions within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing quality strategies ensuring compliance with international standards driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading the QA/QC team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality strategies departmental yearly business plans and monthly operational plans.

• Monitor and analyze department KPIs and financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction energy efficiency and improved asset performance.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems.

• Lead root cause analysis investigations for product rejections and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

• Develop train and motivate the QA/QC team to maintain high standards of safety efficiency and performance.

• Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures testing methods and calibration standards.

• Monitor and ensure effective use of quality testing equipment and facilities.

• Conduct regular quality audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide test certificates and documentation in line with customer requirements and industry standards.

• Collaborate with Production and HR departments on hiring training and performance evaluation of team members.

• Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work practices.

• Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental practices.

• Respond to emergency quality issues and implement immediate corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as QA/QC Head or Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and certifications.

• Experience with Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

• Excellent leadership communication and team management skills.

• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

• Ability to make independent decisions and apply sound judgment.

• Good IT and computer skills (experience with Oracle systems preferred).

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to drive cultural and process improvements within an organization.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.

• Physically fit.
