Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control Head to lead and manage all quality-related functions within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing quality strategies ensuring compliance with international standards driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading the QA/QC team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality strategies departmental yearly business plans and monthly operational plans.
Monitor and analyze department KPIs and financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction energy efficiency and improved asset performance.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Lead root cause analysis investigations for product rejections and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Develop train and motivate the QA/QC team to maintain high standards of safety efficiency and performance.
Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures testing methods and calibration standards.
Monitor and ensure effective use of quality testing equipment and facilities.
Conduct regular quality audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide test certificates and documentation in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with Production and HR departments on hiring training and performance evaluation of team members.
Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work practices.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental practices.
Respond to emergency quality issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as QA/QC Head or Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Skills & Requirements
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and certifications.
Experience with Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Excellent leadership communication and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to make independent decisions and apply sound judgment.
Good IT and computer skills (experience with Oracle systems preferred).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive cultural and process improvements within an organization.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
Physically fit.
