- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
- Negotiate contracts prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company
- Oversee the entire purchasing process from requisition to delivery ensuring accuracy efficiency and quality control
- Collaborate with department heads to determine purchasing needs and forecast demand
- Analyze market trends pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain accurate records of purchases inventory levels and supplier information in compliance with company policies and Saudi Arabian regulations
- Conduct regular inventory audits and coordinate with storeroom personnel
- Mentor and supervise junior purchasing staff providing guidance and performance feedback
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality supply
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost savings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
- Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of local suppliers and market conditions in Saudi Arabia
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian procurement regulations and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
