This role blends business development strategic relationship management and analytics to drive our craft forward.
Reporting to the Marketing VP within the Growth & International department this role will closely collaborate with game studios marketing legal and data analytics teams.
This role will own and nurture Playtikas strategic relationships with key gaming platforms such as Apple Google Play Facebook Steam and Amazon. The candidate will be expected to proactively identify and capitalize on business opportunities within existing platforms to maximize our growth potential and fully leverage the value each platform can offer. It also involves actively exploring alternative platforms to enhance Playtikas market presence and facilitating smooth communication between internal stakeholders and external platform partners.
This role is also relevant to ASO Team Leaders with 3 years of experience as TLs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Management:
Manage strategic relationships with major gaming platforms (iOS Google Play Facebook Steam Amazon etc.) to optimize partnerships and drive growth.
Identify and evaluate new platform partners including alternative and emerging gaming platforms to expand Playtikas market presence.
Act as the primary contact and liaison between platform partners and internal teams addressing and resolving strategic operational and technical issues promptly.
Organize regular strategic reviews business updates and partnership alignment sessions with platform stakeholders.
Platform Strategy and Opportunity Identification:
Identify and leverage opportunities to feature and promote games within various app stores and platforms to maximize visibility and revenue.
Continuously monitor platform updates competitor activities and industry trends to inform strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
Actively mitigate and align business needs and requirements between Playtikas studios and gaming platforms.
Project and Collaboration Management:
Oversee execution of all partnership-related initiatives ensuring alignment with Playtikas strategic objectives and timely high-quality delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and individual game studios in the implementation of partnership strategies and projects.
Collaborate closely with studio management aligning platform initiatives with individual studio roadmaps and strategic plans.
Analytics and Reporting:
Conduct regular business performance reviews leveraging data analytics to measure and report on game and platform performance.
Provide actionable data-driven insights to shape platform strategies and inform business decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Studio Business Analysts and Cross Analytics teams to define track and evaluate partnership success metrics.
Requirements:
Proven experience in mobile gaming platform management (Apple Google Steam Amazon Facebook).
Strong analytical skills with a clear ability to interpret data measure effectiveness and drive strategic decisions.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external platform partners.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively present strategies and updates internally and externally.
Strong project management capabilities adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively address challenges and deliver impactful solutions.
Passionate about gaming with a strong commitment to nurturing best-in-class platform partnerships.
Hands-on experience in core gaming domains such as Product Management and Monetization is a strong advantage.
