Job Title: BMS & Fire Alarm System Technician
Qualification:
Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Management System (BMS) and Fire Alarm System operations and maintenance
Job Location:
Doha Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure smooth functioning of building services.
Monitor maintain and troubleshoot Fire Alarm Systems and associated equipment.
Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and testing of BMS and fire alarm systems.
Identify faults and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
Ensure all systems comply with safety standards and operational procedures.
Maintain system logs maintenance records and incident reports.
Coordinate with facility management and other technical teams for system upgrades and maintenance activities.
Respond to system alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of BMS operations and building automation systems.
Hands-on experience with fire detection and alarm systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system faults.
Good understanding of safety regulations and fire protection systems.
Basic computer skills for monitoring and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with HVAC monitoring through BMS.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
