Overview:
The Player Recruitment Scout is a key member of the team responsible for identifying evaluating and reporting on talented female football players who can strengthen the clubs first. This role supports the clubs competitive objectives by contributing high quality talent intelligence and player recommendations that align with the teams playing philosophy and performance goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Identification & Scouting.
- Attend and scout players to identify potential recruits in your allocated territory.
- Assess players technical skills tactical understanding physical attributes and psychological traits against club criteria.
- Scout players through live observation and video analysis using available platforms and digital tools as required.
- Produce detailed scouting reports with player evaluations strengths weaknesses and development potential.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Womens Sporting Director.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date player profiles notes and talent databases.
- Develop professional networks with grassroots clubs academies coaches agents and other scouting contacts to source insights and referrals.
- Attend talent ID sessions trials and scouting events to stay connected within the womens football ecosystem.
- Ensure all scouting activities adhere to club policies Saudi Arabia Football Federation regulations and safeguarding standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Sports Science or related field.
- Relevant scouting/talent ID certifications (e.g. PFSA FIFA FA courses) are an asset.
Preferred Skills Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous scouting or recruiting experience in professional Womens football.
- Willingness to travel frequently for scouting assignments and match coverage
- Deep understanding of football particularly womens football talent identification and player development
- Strong analytical observational and report-writing skills.
- Experience using video scouting platforms (e.g. Wyscout Hudl) and/or performance analytic tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal teams and external contacts.
- Knowledge of womens football in the allocated territory.

Education: Bachelors degree in Media Communications Journalism Public Relations or a related field. Experience: 35 years of experience in media relations journalism or public relations. Ability to draft clear concise and engaging media content. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of media monitoring tools and digital platforms. Established network of media contacts particularly in sports journalism. Familiarity with crisis communication and reputation management.
