Project Manager
Join SPX FLOW as Project Manager
Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
This role is currently open to Saudi citizen only
About the Role:
As a Project Manager you will lead the delivery of large multi-million-euro capital projects working closely with internal teams such as Engineering as well as key business stakeholders and customers across the globe. You will take full ownership of projects from initiation through execution and closure ensuring successful delivery through effective leadership planning and control.
Experience managing projects within the food and beverage industry is strongly preferred for this role.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading all phases of assigned projects to ensure delivery on time within budget and to the required quality standards
- Ensuring projects meet both SPX FLOW and customer quality expectations
- Developing well-structured project programmes to support effective execution and clearly communicating progress to internal resource leaders and customers
- Proactively identifying planning and managing project risks to minimise impacts on cost schedule and deliverables
- Managing project scope in line with contractual agreements and internal business processes including formal change management
- Collaborating with project controls teams to ensure strong financial oversight and adherence to approved budgets
- Integrating SPX FLOW EHS procedures and local health and safety legislation into project planning and execution
- Conducting regular weekly and monthly project review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders and producing required reports
- Supporting the Bid Process Owner (BPO) during sales stages with project planning risk assessment and execution strategy
- Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
This role will require travel across the Middle East to both customer sites and internal offices in order to manage assigned projects effectively.
What You Bring
- Strong English language skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess technical information and prioritise tasks
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale complex projects valued at 5 million or more ideally within the food and beverage industry
- Experience using SAP for project reporting is an advantage
Education and Experience
- Demonstrated project management experience with engineering awareness in food pharma beverage or industrial engineering environments
- Degree in Chemical Mechanical or Dairy/Food Engineering preferred
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working with international and cross-functional teams
