Job Description

Do you want to join our fantastic team and be part of growing the Swedish footprint and presence in Casablanca for Northern & Western Africa Then we might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our team in Casablanca Morocco.

Business Sweden supports Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion journeys. We provide advisory services within the areas of Growth Advisory M&A Supply Chain and Public Affairs and we support the implementation of the strategies we develop together with our clients which include both strategic advice and analysis as well as hands-on local support. As part of our trade promotion assignment we build strategic platforms to position Swedish competency and Swedish companies in sectors and areas of Swedish strengths.

The team in Casablanca advise both Large- & Mid-sized companies as well as Start-ups on how to capture the growth opportunities in Morocco working closely with the other offices in the region Middle East & Africa. Swedens trade future is increasingly tied to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) a region that represent some of the worlds fastest growing economies. There is a wealth of opportunities particularly connected to the green transition where Swedish expertise is highly sought-after. The average growth in the region is more than three percent with several areas still dependent on foreign aid. That is why this region in many aspects will be in the center of the policy development bringing aid and development measures closer to trade promotion.

The role as Consultant / Senior Consultant includes both strategic and operational responsibilities such as:

  • Deliver and sometimes lead projects supporting Swedish companies in international business development and expansion.
  • Work on projects such as market entry strategies sales acceleration stakeholder analysis and public affairs.
  • Manage client projects from start to finish ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Build strong client relationships and proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across client organizations government agencies and Business Sweden globally.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives promoting trade relations and support Swedish companies in large infrastructure projects with multilateral development banks.
  • Preparing and organizing promotion events round table discussions and B2B and B2G meetings for Swedish companies.
  • Support in our collaboration with Team Sweden in the countries we operate in to provide support and business promotion platforms for Swedish companies.

You will report to the Country Manager and the position is based in Casablanca Morocco but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients globally as required.
