Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager
Reports To: Group Head of Finance and Accounts (HOFA)
Job Purpose
The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for supervising accounts personnel supporting the HOFA in departmental management and preparing management and regulatory financial reports.
Key Relationships
Internal: Company staff across all business units
External: Auditors Vendors Ministries and other relevant parties
Accountabilities
Ensure timely submission of management reports SBU reports budgets and audit requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with finance teams across subsidiaries to gather required financial information.
Liaise with auditors consultants and external parties during audits and reviews.
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in preparation of financial statements budgets forecasts and internal reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor compliance with financial regulations standards and internal controls.
Provide guidance to accounts personnel and support their development.
