Sr. Software Engineer Cloud Application Analysis (Hybrid, ISR)

About the Role:

As a Cloud Engineer in our Application Analysis group youll build the cloud infrastructure that powers our automatic reverse engineering engine - a system designed to analyze and comprehend software code through advanced code analysis techniques including static analysis dynamic analysis and data flow analysis.

Youll develop and integrate this engine into the Falcon platform creating high-performance cloud services and data pipelines that process billions of requests daily from customers worldwide. Your work will involve leading complex projects from conception through deployment making critical technical and architectural decisions and developing modern production architecture at massive scale.

Working at CrowdStrikes Israeli R&D center youll collaborate closely with experienced cybersecurity developers and our algorithm development team to integrate code analysis capabilities into the platform. Youll own your code end-to-end - from planning to development and testing to production rollout and scale-up - while working across a diverse technology stack to solve complex distributed systems challenges.

What Youll Do:

• Work-on and enrich backend microservices From researching areas of concern to implementing the final solution.

• Leverage existing CrowdStrike tools and services to build cloud-based systems to help detect targeted attacks.

• Brainstorm Research Define Communicate Build and Lead collaboratively with members across multiple teams.

What Youll Need:

• Degree in Computer Science (or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems).

• A minimum of 5 years of production-level experience in building delivering and maintaining systems at scale

• Understanding scalability and distributed systems i.e. sharding partitioning concurrency etc.

• Being a team player.

• A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.

• The ability to thrive in a test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment.

• The skills to meet your commitments on time and produce high-quality software that is unit tested code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.

Bonus Points:

• Existing exposure to Python Go AWS Cassandra Kafka Elasticsearch.

• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligen
