KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design develop and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide deep insights and support strategic decision-making.
Integrate data from various sources ensuring accuracy completeness and reliability of data.
Lead BI projects from concept to completion including requirement gathering design development testing and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders data engineers and IT to ensure BI solutions meet business needs.
Monitor and maintain the performance of BI solutions ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
Utilize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create complex calculations and data models.
Provide guidance mentorship and training to junior BI developers and analysts.

Requirements

Bachelors/masters degree in computer science information systems data analytics or a related field (or an equivalent of 3 years of practical experience in a technical domain).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/Qlik or Tableau.
Experienced with data visualization principles measure/KBI-creation & best principles in semantic modeling (especially star schema creation).
Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations in Power BI or similar tools is a must.
Minimum 2 years of practical experience with large data analytics languages like SQL/TSQL/MSQL.
Proven practical experience in implementing/organizing the implementation of technical products with business/none-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills are a must for the role.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Good proficiency in English as a day-to-day business language is a must.

Qualifications considered as a plus:

First proven leadership capabilities towards junior employees and a proactive approach to project management.

Basic programming knowledge in any high-level programming language (C/C#/Java/Python/R).

Knowledge of Power Query for data preparation and transformation.

Previous work experience in a data-related role especially within the financial and commercial domain.

Transportation allowance of 120960 EGP paid annually (10K p/m)
Work model: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Employment contract: salary is 850000 EGP GROSS/year.
Annual bonus: 13th and 14th salary
