The role

Are you a student living in Riyadh and interested in gaining insight into life at a leading international law firm AS&H Clifford Chance invites applications for our Summer Internship Programme a short-term internship designed to provide hands-on exposure to legal work.

Running between June and August this internship offers a valuable introduction to the legal profession in Saudi Arabia and the role international law firms play in supporting complex high-impact matters across the Kingdom. You will work alongside our lawyers and business professionals gaining practical experience and insight into our collaborative and high-performing culture.

This programme provides an excellent foundation for students considering a future career in law or professional service

You will have the opportunity to:

Work alongside our lawyers and business professionals in our Riyadh office.
Gain exposure to market-leading transactions and advisory work shaping Saudi Arabia.
Develop core professional legal and commercial skills through real-world tasks.

During the programme you will be treated as a valued team member. You will support live matters assist with research and project work and collaborate with colleagues across practice areas.

Interns will gain exposure to one or more of the following practice areas depending on business needs and preferences:

Public Policy
Corporate / Capital Markets
Banking & Finance
Litigation

Qualifications :

Eligibility

Saudi nationality
Be current university students
Demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about the legal profession in Saudi Arabia
Be available to complete the internship during the JuneAugust period within Riyadh
Prior legal experience is not required.
Be on track for a minimum academic GPA of 4.5/5.0 or 3.5/4.0

Curious motivated and eager to learn
Strong communicators in Arabic and English
Organised reliable and professional in their approach
Able to work well in a team environment
Interested in developing commercial awareness and problem-solving skills

Internship period: June August 2026
Duration: Short-term summer internship (exact dates to be confirmed based on business needs and availability)
