Job Title: Junior Cybersecurity Analyst
Location : Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our cybersecurity operations assisting in threat monitoring detection and response.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cybersecurity alerts and system logs under supervision using security monitoring and SIEM tools.
- Assist in identifying cybersecurity incidents and potential threats.
- Support incident response activities including initial investigation and documentation.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
- Support implementation of cybersecurity policies standards and controls issued by NCA.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation reports and asset records.
- Escalate incidents according to established cybersecurity procedures.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness drills and training programs.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and threats.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP firewalls routing concepts).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
- Awareness of common attack types (phishing malware unauthorized access).
- Ability to analyze logs and security alerts at a basic level.
- Strong analytical reporting and documentation skills.
- Hands on experience with ECC CCC by NCA audit exercise.
Preferred Certifications
- Security
- CEH (Entry Level)
- NCA-recognized cybersecurity training programs
Mandatory Requirements
- Saudi National (mandatory requirement).
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Security Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant IT or cybersecurity experience.
