Security is about anticipation protection and presence. As Security Manager you will lead daily security operations uphold Fire Life & Safety (FLS) standards and ensure a safe seamless environment for our guests and colleagues all while delivering a bold service-driven approach to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Operations in overseeing all hotel safety and security operations.
- Lead mentor and evaluate Security Team Leaders and Officers ensuring vigilance accountability and professionalism.
- Supervise shifts manage incident response and monitor team performance.
- Review and validate logbooks incident reports and security documentation for accuracy and follow-up.
- Enforce security and FLS protocols across guest areas back-of-house and external perimeters.
- Conduct daily patrols inspections and spot checks to identify risks or non-compliance.
- Manage found property procedures and maintain strict key control records.
- Respond decisively to incidents including theft disputes emergencies and breaches minimizing operational disruption.
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans (fire evacuation medical emergencies natural disasters).
- Organize and lead fire drills and emergency simulations to ensure readiness.
- Coordinate with Civil Defense law enforcement and emergency services during investigations or crises.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments implementing corrective actions where required.
- Ensure CCTV access control alarms and surveillance systems are operational and compliant with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections drills incidents and equipment servicing.
- Liaise with Front Office Housekeeping Engineering and People & Culture to maintain a cohesive safety environment.
- Provide discreet professional support to guests affected by incidents and resolve security-related concerns promptly.
Qualifications :
- 46 years of progressive hotel or resort security experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury or lifestyle property.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Life & Safety (FLS) risk assessments and crisis response protocols.
- Technical expertise in CCTV access control systems alarms and surveillance technology.
- Solid understanding of Saudi security regulations and emergency response standards.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Calm decisive and composed under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of patrol and emergency response duties.
