Job Description
The Material Test Engineer will prepare test specimens execute material and coating tests register and report results support investigations and ensure lab compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare test specimens (cutting embedding polishing coating conditioning) per test procedures
Execute tests including tensile hardness impact stone chipping salt spray coating thickness color measurement microscopy inspections
Follow internal standards and international test methods (ISO ASTM DIN IEC)
Register test results in lab systems; maintain complete records
Produce test reports including sample details methods results graphs and observations
Support data interpretation and root cause investigations; escalate deviations and out-of-spec results
Support audits calibration activities and quality assurance
Follow safety requirements for facility and lab operations
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or technical qualification in Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Chemistry or related technical field
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset; strong communication and teamwork; ability to multitask; proactive problem-solver
