Job Title: Strategic Planning Analyst
Directorate: CEO Office
Department: Corporate Strategy
Reporting To: Corporate Strategy Director
JOB PURPOSE
To support the development implementation and monitoring of Client’s strategy and business plans. The role ensures alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution while establishing effective performance measurement systems to assess organizational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Corporate Business Planning
- Contribute to the development and periodic review of Client strategy in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the organization’s vision mission and objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of the five-year Corporate Business Plan (CBP) in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in cascading strategic objectives into departmental and operational plans to ensure full alignment.
Performance Management & Monitoring
- Develop and define key organizational performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure overall performance.
- Establish and maintain systems and processes for measuring assessing and reporting organizational performance.
- Monitor implementation of strategic and operational plans and prepare periodic progress reports for review by the Corporate Strategy Director.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure timely and accurate performance data collection consolidation and reporting.
Operational Planning Support
- Provide guidance and support to departments in the development of annual operating plans.
- Monitor execution of operational plans and assist departments in addressing challenges and performance gaps.
Risk & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to identify assess and prioritize risks across departments and projects.
- Support initiatives related to continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
General
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management in line with the scope of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Strategy Management or related field (required).
Professional Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PMI or CAPM
- Other relevant strategic planning or performance management certifications
Experience
- Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in strategic planning corporate performance management or related discipline.
- Experience in corporate strategy development and KPI frameworks is highly desirable.
