Purpose:
The purpose of the Professional Education & Development (PED) Associate role is to: n Deliver the annual Strategic Plan for PED activities in the country/market. n Ensure JJV products are used correctly by eye care practitioners (ECPs) and health care professionals (HCPs). n Elevate the scientific evidence that supports the superior performance of JJV products. n Develop execute and contribute to technical training for customers and JJV staff and sales team and maintain recognized expertise in the field of contact lenses and surgical vision products. n Build strong partnerships with local professional bodies to support external environment shaping and planning. The primary focus of this role is to support the Vision Care business with a strong emphasis on Contact Lens products. Support for the Surgical Vision portfolio will be provided as required based on market dynamics prioritization and evolving business needs and in alignment with the line manager and leadership teams strategic direction.
You will be responsible for:
Manage relationships with external customers KOLs and key field stakeholders.
Understand technical clinical and performance attributes of JJV products and differences with key
competitor products.
Understand the need for new educational programs and activities through customers unmet needs and
attitudes and increase the awareness of eye health care in terms of CL use and surgical vision products use.
Demonstrated knowledge and adherence of Legal and Health Care Compliance policies.
Travel within the country or area of responsibility as necessary to perform the above.
Effectively prioritize time to plan and implement projects
Available for involvement in all cross-functional activities aimed at the profession/consumer.

Managing and exceeding the needs of the JJV business to achieve JJV goals within regulatoryHCC privacy and legal requirements
This job requires travel throughout the country and occasionally across Europe.
Communication / Education / Development
Develop & execute concepts of technical & theoretical education of professionals thatsell/recommend JJV products to ensure correct usage for long term business/market development.
Lead surround sound and share-of-voice initiatives at major conferences.
Run educational projects conferences programs local trainings and courses in accordance with JJ Company compliance policies and procedures.
Support in providing appropriate technical training and knowledge to other functional departments within JJV to enable them to sell their products.
Support the identification development and engagement of local KOLs.
Cooperation with Commercial Compliance HCC and Legal to ensure an appropriate framework for educational initiatives.
Background Information and Main Activities n Spend time with Sales Representatives to analyse market dynamics and customer and business needs.
Understand current accepted practitioner beliefs n Carry out field visits to better understand customer educational needs.
Interface between JJV and the professional press.
Meet with educational institutions and ECPs/HCPs; identify and develop new partnerships.
Attend and speak at key conferences to obtain latest knowledge on contact lens research; publish articles whilst not promoting JJ products and services.
Attend regular Professional Education and Development meetings.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Essential:
Ophthalmologists / Optometrist / Contact Lens Optician
Experience in contact lens fitting
Excellent Presentation skills
Experience of delivering training
High Verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in local language
Proficiency in business and technical English
High ethical mindset and values
Preferred:
Higher qualifications in contact lens practice.
Computer skills PowerPoint Word and Excel AI tools
