Job Title: Instrument Fitter
Job Location: Qatar

Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day / 26 days per month
Job Overview
The Instrument Fitter will be responsible for installing routing testing and maintaining tubing and instrumentation systems in industrial and construction environments. The role requires strong knowledge of technical drawings precision installation and pressure testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Install and route tubing between various instruments and control devices.
Interpret and follow P&ID hookup drawings schematics isometric drawings and tubing layout plans.
Perform hydraulic and pneumatic pressure testing for leak detection and system integrity.
Assist in assembling instrumentation supports brackets and fittings.
Ensure all installation work is in compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
Report any material tool or technical issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
Must have hands-on experience in the following areas:
Tube Installation
Skilled in routing and installing tubing between instruments.
Strong knowledge of correct bending clamping and fitting practices.
Reading Drawings & Schematics
Ability to read and interpret:
P&ID diagrams
Hookup drawings (DWG)
Isometric drawings
Tubing layout plans
General instrumentation schematics
Pressure Testing
Capable of performing both hydraulic and pneumatic pressure tests.
Knowledge of leak testing procedures and safety measures.
