Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead mechanical design activities for pressure vessels and related equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards deliver high-quality engineering outputs and support timely project execution. Strong technical expertise coordination skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Execute mechanical designs in compliance with ASME PD5500 EN API TEMA codes.
Design equipment including columns reactors heat exchangers filters storage tanks and silos.
Use design software such as PVelite PVtank StaadPro Ansys for calculations and modeling.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical delivery conditions (TDCs).
Perform pre-bid and detailed engineering per client standards.
Review drawings respond to technical queries and secure client approvals.
Participate in ASME ISO and prequalification audits as required.
Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure accuracy of engineering drawings.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and drafters to improve drafting quality.
Coordinate with internal departments and project teams regarding schedules engineering changes and project deliverables.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1015 years of relevant experience in mechanical/pressure vessel design.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings design standards and codes.
Proficiency in PVelite PVtank StaadPro Ansys.
Experience with ISO systems ERP and engineering documentation preferred.
Good supervisory coordination and communication skills.
