We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Piping Stress Engineer to join our client s engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing piping stress analysis using industry-standard tools and ensuring piping systems are safe reliable and compliant with project specifications and international codes.
Perform detailed piping stress analysis using software such as CAESAR II and AutoPIPE.
Evaluate and design supports hangers and restraints for piping systems based on stress results.
Ensure piping layouts comply with ASME API and relevant international codes and project specifications.
Conduct nozzle load evaluations for static and rotating equipment.
Coordinate with piping designers to resolve layout or routing issues related to stress and flexibility.
Interface with clients vendors and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare stress calculation reports support load reports and technical documentation.
Participate in model reviews design reviews and HAZOP meetings when required.
Provide technical support during fabrication construction and commissioning phases.
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Post-graduate specialization in Stress Analysis or Piping Design (preferred).
Proficiency in stress analysis software like CAESAR II AutoPIPE and ROHR2.
Familiarity with 3D modeling tools like Plant 3D PDMS SmartPlant 3D or Navisworks.
Strong understanding of material specifications welding techniques and pipe support standards.
Knowledge of international piping codes: ASME B31.3 B31.1 API ASTM.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
