Responsibilities:
Assemble install and align manual and automated valves including gate globe ball butterfly and check valves.
Perform inspection testing and maintenance of valves to ensure proper operation.
Read and interpret engineering drawings piping isometrics and valve datasheets.
Carry out disassembly cleaning and reassembly of valves and actuators.
Ensure correct torqueing alignment and leak testing according to manufacturer and project standards.
Work closely with fitters welders and pipe technicians during installation and maintenance activities.
Perform pressure testing flushing and calibration of valves as required.
Adhere to all HSE policies confined space procedures and permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
Maintain records of valve maintenance spares used and inspection reports.
