Reporting to the General Manager you will bring your expertise to support the executive department and all operational departments in their choices decisions and their search for quality and results. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Oversee daily engineering operations building maintenance and rehabilitation programs
Implement and manage preventive maintenance for all equipment guest rooms public areas kitchens and laundry
Ensure smooth operation of alarm systems elevators fire safety and life safety equipment
Maintain updated technical documentation drawings and equipment manuals
Prepare and manage the budget in partnership with Finance
Control expenditures invoices inventory and engineering stores
Monitor utilities consumption and drive energy efficiency initiatives
Ensure full compliance with life safety procedures statutory regulations and company standards
Conduct regular property inspections and risk prevention actions
Lead emergency procedures and safety training programs
Supervise train and develop the engineering team
Support recruitment performance evaluations and workforce planning
Foster a professional safety-focused and collaborative culture
Coordinate contractors and special projects
Advise management on operational improvements and asset upgrades
