Job Description: Senior Materials Inspector (Onshore)
Position: Senior Materials Inspector
Number of Positions: 1
Project Duration: 1 year (extendable)
Deployment: Within 30-40 days
Location: Onshore Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections for materials focusing on GRP/composite structures
- Verify compliance with project specifications and DNV-ST-C501 standards
- Monitor material certification and testing processes
- Perform inspections at vendor sites and project locations
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
Mandatory Requirements:
- Accredited degree/diploma in:
- Polymer Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Composite Materials Engineering
- Polymer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of QC/inspection experience
- At least 2 years specific experience with GRP/composite structures
- Working knowledge of DNV-ST-C501 standard
- Coating Inspector Level 2 certification (NACE/AMPP/BGAS CSWIP or equivalent)
Additional Requirement:
- Valid onshore medical certificate
*Note: This is an onshore position requiring immediate availability for mobilization within 30-40 days. Composite materials/GRP experience is essential.*
