MEP Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and financial aspects of mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout project lifecycles. The role involves cost estimation budgeting BOQ development contract management and financial control to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems including mechanical electrical and plumbing components
- Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) with accuracy aligned to project specifications
- Monitor and control project costs providing accurate forecasts and financial reports
- Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts to optimize costs and ensure compliance
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities and ensure adherence to project requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to address cost-related issues and support successful project delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems construction practices and cost management techniques
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
