The Civil Engineer will oversee the execution of civil works for various infrastructure projects ensuring adherence to approved designs specifications and quality standards. The position involves close collaboration with contractors stakeholders and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the implementation of civil works ensuring compliance with project plans specifications and safety standards.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify the quality of executed work and adherence to approved designs.
Review and document site delivery orders construction progress and material compliance.
Monitor contractor performance and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Prepare and submit daily weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure that all civil works align with local regulations codes and standards.
Assist in the preparation and review of technical studies material specifications and cost estimates.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to implement quality assurance measures and address non-conformance issues.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates and technical input.
Ensure that all activities comply with health safety and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or any related .
Minimum of 10 years of experience in supervising civil engineering projects including infrastructure and construction.
Proven expertise in project practices standards and specifications.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and testing procedures.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and local engineering standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Competence in preparing technical reports and documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
