ملخص الوظيفة
The Vessel Supervisor is responsible for overseeing vessel operations to ensure safe efficient and compliant marine activities. The role involves coordinating with vessel crew port authorities and shore-based teams to ensure operational excellence adherence to maritime regulations and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Supervise daily vessel operations including navigation cargo handling and deck activities
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations (IMO SOLAS MARPOL) and company policies
Monitor vessel safety standards and enforce safe working practices onboard
Coordinate with captains engineers and crew for operational planning and execution
Liaise with port authorities clients and offshore/onshore teams as required
Oversee maintenance activities and ensure vessels are seaworthy at all times
Conduct inspections audits and toolbox talks onboard vessels
Monitor vessel schedules fuel consumption and operational performance
Prepare operational reports incident reports and daily activity logs
Support crew management including discipline performance monitoring and training
Respond to emergencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
Requirements
- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Marine Mechanical or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 37 years of experience in vessel or marine operations
- Prior experience as a Deck Foreman Bosun or Senior Deckhand preferred
- Valid STCW certification (Basic Safety PPE First Aid Firefighting)
