Mooring Gang

We are seeking a Mooring Gang who will be responsible for assisting in the safe mooring and unmooring of vessels handling mooring lines and supporting berthing operations in coordination with pilots masters and port authorities.

• Handle mooring and unmooring lines during vessel berthing and departure
  
• Secure vessels safely using ropes wires and mooring equipment
  
• Assist pilots and vessel crew during berthing operations
  
• Inspect mooring ropes bollards hooks and related equipment
  
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and vessel crew
  
• Ensure safe working practices and use of PPE at all times
  
• Keep mooring areas clean and free from obstructions
  
• Respond promptly to instructions during vessel movements
  
• Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately
  
• Support emergency response during marine incidents
  

Requirements

• Basic education preferred
  
• 13 years experience in mooring marine or port operations
  
• Knowledge of mooring equipment and safe handling practices
  
• Experience working in ports terminals or jetties preferred
  
• Basic safety training (HSE / PPE / marine safety)
