Cargo Labour

We are seeking a Cargo Laborer who will be responsible for manual handling loading unloading and movement of cargo and materials in a safe and efficient manner supporting overall cargo and logistics operations.

• Load and unload cargo from vessels trucks and containers
  
• Carry stack and arrange cargo as instructed
  
• Assist in securing cargo using straps ropes or other methods
  
• Support tally clerks and supervisors during cargo operations
  
• Follow safety instructions and use PPE at all times
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  
• Report damaged cargo or unsafe conditions immediately
  
• Assist with basic packing unpacking and labeling of cargo
  
• Support yard warehouse and port operations as required
  

Requirements

• Basic education preferred
  
• 02 years experience in cargo handling or labor work preferred
  
• Experience in port warehouse or yard operations is an advantage
  
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
  
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
