We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to join our dynamic team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our organization you will lead and oversee complex high-profile projects ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple large-scale projects aligning them with organizational goals and objectives
- Develop and implement project management methodologies best practices and standards across the organization
- Oversee project budgets timelines and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and project success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams stakeholders and clients to define project scope deliverables and expectations
- Identify and mitigate potential risks developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity
- Lead and mentor project teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management providing regular updates on project status challenges and successes
- Drive decision-making processes resolving complex issues and conflicts that arise during project execution
- Analyze project performance metrics and implement strategies for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex large-scale projects in a corporate environment
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive project management experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies tools and best practices
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk management and mitigation
- Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is highly desirable
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera Jira)
- Adaptability and resilience in managing complex dynamic project environments
