The intern will gain hands-on experience in the recruitment process from A to Z. will be exposed to headhunting sourcing screening interviewing and assessing potential candidates providing a comprehensive understanding of the recruitment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Headhunting: Assist in identifying and approaching potential candidates using various sourcing techniques including social media job boards and networking.
- Sourcing: Conduct research to find suitable candidates for open positions utilizing databases and recruitment tools.
- Screening: Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on qualifications and job requirements.
- Interviewing: Participate in conducting initial interviews to assess candidates skills experience and cultural fit.
- Assessing Candidates: Assist in evaluating candidates using various assessment methods and tools to ensure they meet client needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and timelines.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to enhance sourcing strategies.
- Support Operations: Assist in various operational tasks within the recruitment department including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
- Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
