ملخص الوظيفة
Role purpose
Produce and maintain method drawings used for offshore execution: lifting/rigging sketches sea-fastening installation sequences temporary works layouts and method statements visuals to support safe construction and offshore operations.
Reporting line
Typically reports to Project/Construction/Methods Manager within a methods or subsea engineering group.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 2D/3D drawings that support offshore construction methods (installation sequences deck layouts equipment arrangements lifting plans temporary supports).
- Convert method engineering inputs into clear IFC/IFR drawings sketches and markups for offshore teams.
- Ensure drawings align with HSE lifting/rigging best practices and project constraints (vessel crane capacity access/egress).
- Manage drawing registers revisions and as-built updates; coordinate with engineering construction and QA/QC.
- Support offshore queries with quick turnarounds and accurate revisions.
Requirements (typical)
- Diploma in Drafting / Mechanical / Civil (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in offshore EPC / construction drafting 7 years)
- Proficiency: AutoCAD (must) often MicroStation / Navisworks / SolidWorks depending on project
- Understanding of lifting/rigging terminology temporary works and constructability
