Architectural Lead (Offshore EPC / Fixed Facilities)
Role purpose:
Lead the architectural discipline for offshore/industrial facilities (layouts modules interface with multi-discipline vendor/subcontractor control and client deliverables) ensuring compliance with project specs and codes and supporting procurement/technical evaluations.
Reporting line
Typically reports to Project Specialist Leader / Engineering Manager and coordinates with designers and other disciplines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop/verify architectural layouts for offshore/plant & non-plant buildings accommodation modules and technical buildings based on multi-disciplinary inputs.
- Lead design verification and study tasks; coordinate with other specialists and designers.
- Prepare/Review architectural deliverables (drawings specs schedules) manage comments and maintain technical files.
- Manage subcontracted/vendor documents; ensure timely review cycles and compliance.
- Support procurement with MR/TBE (Material Requisition / Technical Bid Evaluation) for architectural packages and technical vendor interfaces.
- Participate in 3D model reviews (clash-free coordination) with client/internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements international standards and HSE/constructability expectations.
Requirements (typical)
- Degree in Architecture (or Architectural Engineering)
- Strong EPC/offshore experience (often 1015 years with leadership responsibility)
- Competency in reviews interfaces 3D model coordination and vendor management
- Tools: AutoCAD 3D review environments (Navisworks / similar) MS Office
