We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Design Manager to join our innovative team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our organization you will lead and oversee complex design projects ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Spearhead the design management process for large-scale projects with a focus on data center initiatives
- Develop and implement design management tools and procedures to optimize project workflows
- Lead and mentor a team of design professionals fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Manage project budgets timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects engineers and construction professionals
- Review and approve design outputs to ensure quality and compliance with contractual obligations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and sub-consultants
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design solutions into projects
- Prepare and present comprehensive design reports and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in design management with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- In-depth understanding of the design process and project lifecycle
- Strong project and design programming skills
- Expertise in developing and implementing design management tools and procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to manage project financials
- Proficiency in MS Project Excel and InDesign
- Experience with data center projects is highly desirable
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards regulations and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs
