Job description
Woodston Personnel are seeking a Consultant in Adult Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy to join a progressive and expanding haematology service at our clients hospital. This is a key senior clinical role with responsibility for the delivery development and governance of stem cell transplantation and advanced cellular therapies including CAR-T and emerging treatments.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping service delivery advancing clinical excellence and contributing to education research and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Duties and Responsbilities
Provide expert consultant-level care in adult stem cell transplantation (autologous and/or allogeneic) and cellular therapies
Lead and manage the care of patients undergoing complex transplant and cellular therapy pathways
Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical activity including on-call commitments as required
Ensure high standards of patient safety quality of care and clinical governance
Contribute to the development and expansion of stem cell transplant and cellular therapy services
Support the introduction and governance of new and emerging therapies including CAR-T and novel cellular treatments
Work closely with haematology oncology infectious diseases ICU pharmacy and laboratory services
Participate in service planning audit quality improvement and accreditation processes
Actively engage in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and shared care arrangements
Collaborate with nursing allied health professionals laboratory teams and clinical trial units
Support integrated care pathways across inpatient outpatient and regional referral services
Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training
Supervise and mentor junior doctors fellows and trainees
Participate in clinical research audits and clinical trials where applicable
Support academic collaborations and continuous professional development within the service
Ennsure compliance with regulatory accreditation and safety standards relevant to stem cell transplant and cellular therapy services
Contribute to clinical governance risk management and service evaluation initiatives
Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
