Overall Onboard Operations
Manage all hotel and hospitality operations on board the vessel
Ensure smooth execution of daily programs excursions and sailing schedules
Act as the main coordination point between Captain shore operations and head office
Guest Experience & Service
Personally oversee guest satisfaction and handle complaints immediately
Ensure consistent service standards across reception housekeeping F&B and entertainment
Monitor guest feedback and daily reports; take corrective action in real time
Staff Leadership & Discipline
Lead onboard department heads (Reception Housekeeping Restaurant Bar Kitchen)
Control attendance punctuality uniforms grooming and behavior
Conduct daily briefings and enforce company policies
Recommend rewards penalties or dismissals when required
Financial & Cost Control
Enforce daily cash POS and revenue reporting
Control onboard expenses consumables and staff usage
Monitor F&B consumption and prevent waste free usage or unauthorized discounts
Support Finance with inventory counts audits and reconciliations
Inventory & Stores Control
Supervise receiving storage issuance and stock records
Verify deliveries against invoices and approved orders
Report shortages damages and variances immediately
Compliance Safety & Hygiene
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Tourism river transport and safety regulations
Enforce hygiene food safety and cleanliness standards
Lead safety drills and emergency preparedness with Captain and crew
Reporting & Communication
Submit daily operational and financial reports
Escalate issues immediatelyno delayed reporting
Act as Hansas representative on board with full authority
510 years experience in river cruises hotels or resorts
Strong leadership and operational discipline
Comfortable handling guests staff suppliers and authorities
Financially aware and control-minded
Fluent in English required French a big plus
