Job Title: QC Engineer (QatarEnergy Approved)
Location: Qatar
Experience: Minimum 10 Years
Approval: Mandatory QatarEnergy (QE) Approval
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced QC Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in Quality Control within Oil & Gas EPC or industrial projects. The candidate must be QatarEnergy approved and capable of ensuring all project quality activities comply with QE requirements international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain Quality Control procedures as per QatarEnergy standards.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications ITPs and quality plans.
Review and verify material inspection reports test results and certifications.
Coordinate with QatarEnergy representatives consultants and contractors for inspections and approvals.
Monitor and control Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and project quality requirements.
Support QA team in maintaining project quality documentation.
Perform vendor and subcontractor quality surveillance.
Prepare and submit quality reports and documentation to management and clients.
Participate in pre-commissioning commissioning and handover quality activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical or relevant field).
Minimum 10 years of QC experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
Mandatory QatarEnergy approval (Valid & verifiable).
Strong knowledge of ISO standards QC procedures and inspection processes.
Experience working with EPC contractors in Qatar is preferred.
Good documentation reporting and communication skills.
Ability to work under project deadlines and site conditions.
Preferred Certifications
ISO 9001 Internal / Lead Auditor
NDT Level Certification (if applicable to discipline)
Relevant QC inspection certifications
