Job Title: Logistics Manager – Textile Industry
Job Location: Qatar
Industry: Textile / Garments / Uniforms / Apparel Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the textile industry to manage and optimize end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. The role involves overseeing procurement logistics warehousing inventory transportation and distribution while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control end-to-end logistics operations including inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
Plan and oversee import & export shipments customs clearance and documentation
Coordinate with suppliers freight forwarders shipping lines and transporters
Ensure timely delivery of fabrics trims accessories and finished garments
Oversee warehouse operations inventory control and stock accuracy
Optimize logistics costs through effective vendor negotiation and route planning
Ensure compliance with local regulations customs laws and trade requirements
Implement logistics KPIs to improve efficiency turnaround time and service levels
Collaborate with production merchandising and commercial teams for smooth operations
Prepare logistics reports forecasts and performance analysis for management
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics management within the textile or garment industry
Strong knowledge of textile supply chain warehousing and inventory systems
Hands-on experience in import/export customs clearance and shipping documentation
Excellent negotiation planning and problem-solving skills
Experience with ERP / WMS systems is an advantage
GCC / Qatar logistics experience preferred
Valid driving license is an added advantage
