Job Title: Procurement Manager – Textile Industry

Job Location: Qatar
Industry: Textile / Garments / Uniforms / Apparel Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the textile industry to manage strategic sourcing vendor development and procurement operations. The role focuses on cost optimization quality assurance and timely procurement of raw materials fabrics trims and services to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business objectives
Source and procure fabrics yarns trims accessories chemicals and packaging materials
Identify evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers
Manage supplier contracts pricing lead times and quality standards
Coordinate closely with production merchandising and logistics teams
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock
Ensure compliance with company policies ethical sourcing and quality requirements
Analyze procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives
Handle import-related procurement documentation and supplier coordination
Prepare procurement reports forecasts and performance evaluations

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Textiles or Business Administration
Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement within the textile or garment industry
Strong knowledge of textile raw materials sourcing markets and supplier management
Proven experience in vendor negotiation and cost control
Familiarity with ERP / procurement systems
Strong analytical communication and leadership skills
GCC / Qatar experience preferred
