GAMS manages clients audit requests from planning to delivery of final reports and provides advice on audit requirements based on contractual requirements.
The Audit Specialist responds to audit requests while assuring compliance with various CGIs contractual and operational obligations. The Audit Specialist leads and executes audit assignments with the support of a well-established GAMS team. The Audit Specialist works in collaboration with various technical operational and delivery teams (auditees) as well as the client relation service team (in CGI) with the clients and external auditors
The Audit Specialist is responsible for the following:
Validates the scope of client audit requests with CGI Strategic Business Units (SBU) / Business Units (BU) for new and recurring audits
Manages all assigned client audits from planning to SOC 1 and SOC2 report delivery
Analyzes client controls and completes control mapping activities when required
Evaluates efforts needed to complete each assigned audit project
Prepares the Client Control Package (CCP) in collaboration with Corporate Centre of Excellence
Schedules attends and presents at audit kick-off meetings audit interviews and organizational meetings
Validates the required evidence with audited groups
Coordinates and manages interviews between external auditors and auditees
Performs Quality Assurance on evidence provided by audited groups
Approves and releases evidence to external auditors
Analyzes and manages requests and issues raised by external auditors
Identify when escalations are required to deliver audits on schedule
Prepares CGIs formal audit response (CGI Management Comments) and obtains approval from implicated teams
Assists the SBU/BU in the development of management action plans
Validates evidence to confirm the completion of remediation activities and reports progress in the remediation Tool
A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in Information Technology security or;
A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in Information Technology auditing and an aspiration to acquire experience in Information Technology security
oInformation technology auditing (required)
Has executed or participated in audits (SOC1 (CSAE3416 ISAE3402 SSAE18); SOC2; CISSP internal audits ad hoc audits etc.)
2 to 5 years of experience ideally with a background in an audit firm
Knowledge of C-198 MICOBIT governance framework Sarbanes-Oxley ISO ITIL PCI-DSS SDLC.
oInformation technology (important)
Good knowledge of the major operating systems (Ex : Windows Unix z/OS AS/400 including virtual and cloud)
Work experience in project mode
oMandatory technical expertise
Master the MS Office suite
Educational requirements
University diploma (Bachelor degree) or higher
CISA Certification (required)
CISSP Certification (an asset)
General qualifications
Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
Ability for multi-tasking (capacity to work on several mandates simultaneously)
Ability to manage and handle sensitive information and situations
