Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Grounds Maintenance Technician (OCN) to maintain and enhance the outdoor environment surrounding healthcare facilities in Al Sailiya Qatar. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented physically fit and committed to ensuring a clean safe and visually appealing landscape throughout the year. This role involves a mix of physical labor horticulture knowledge and operation of landscaping equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the grounds surrounding healthcare facilities including lawns gardens and hardscapes.
- Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing trimming edging pruning weeding and planting.
- Operate landscaping equipment safely including lawnmowers trimmers blowers and other tools.
- Ensure proper irrigation system maintenance and watering schedules.
- Apply fertilizers pesticides and herbicides as required following safety guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior areas including walkways parking lots and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and improvements.
- Adhere to all Health Safety & Environmental policies and report any incidents to the supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grounds maintenance landscaping or related field preferably in the construction or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture landscaping practices and plant care.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely.
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions and handle heavy equipment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to identify potential hazards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be available locally in Qatar.
- Must hold a valid Freelance Visa.
