We are seeking a visionary and goal-oriented Director of Rooms to join our team. As a key member of our executive team you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rooms Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape exceptional guest experiences.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Rooms Division ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence
- Oversee and optimize front office operations including reception concierge and bell/valet services
- Manage functions to maintain presentation throughout the property
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive positive reviews
- Analyze key performance metrics and financial data to make informed decisions and improve departmental efficiency
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage departmental budgets control expenses and optimize revenue generation
- Stay abreast of industry trends and local tourism developments to maintain the propertys competitive edge
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and security regulations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rooms Division management within luxury hotels or resorts
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and operational efficiency
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and revenue management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests staff and stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in hotel management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Fluency in English ; additional languages are a plus
- In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving service excellence
