Maintain Quality and Care as Our Facilities Supervisor

Imagine overseeing a vibrant campus where safety functionality and efficiency come together to create the best possible environment for teaching and learning. As our Facilities Supervisor you will ensure that AUS buildings grounds and equipment are well-maintained compliant and supportive of the schools mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of facilities including maintenance and groundskeeping
Ensure classrooms offices and common areas meet high standards of safety and functionality
Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC plumbing electrical and other systems
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health safety and Ministry of Education standards
Manage vendor and contractor relationships monitoring performance and cost-effectiveness
Supervise facilities staff providing direction training and performance feedback
Support budget development track expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in EngineeringFacilities Management or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or operations management (school or institutional setting is a plus)
Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance practices
Proven leadership and team supervision skills in a multicultural environment
Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills
Fluency in English (Arabic skills are an advantage)
