Job Title: Assistant Consultant Orthopedics
Location: Jeddah Saudi Arabia
Department: Orthopedics
Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity to join one of Saudi Arabias leading hospitals as an Assistant Consultant in Orthopedics. This role offers the chance to provide highquality surgical care support senior consultants and contribute to teaching research and departmental development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake clinical work across all areas of orthopedics under supervision of senior consultants.
- Perform surgical procedures within approved privileges and assist in operating theatre duties.
- Contribute to morbidity/mortality reviews quality improvement and departmental administration.
- Attend departmental meetings and represent Orthopedics in hospital committees.
- Arrange equitable oncall rosters with peers and seniors to ensure adequate coverage.
- Teach and mentor residents interns and junior staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a medical school recognized by NGHA.
- Completion of a structured accredited residency training program in Orthopedics.
- Board Certification approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Positive professional references.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (essential).
- Additional proficiency in Arabic preferred.
Skills:
- Strong clinical expertise in orthopedic surgery.
- Effective communication and teaching skills.
- Computer proficiency (Level I essential).
