We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with site supervision capabilities to join our team in this role you will be responsible for managing costs and overseeing construction activities on-site ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct on-site measurements and valuations of work completed
- Manage project budgets track expenses and forecast costs
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare tender and contract documents
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues on-site
- Collaborate with project managers architects and other stakeholders
- Prepare regular progress reports and financial statements
- Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Conduct final account settlements and assist in dispute resolution
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying with proven site supervision experience
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated project management capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods materials and contracts
- Familiarity with Kuwaits construction industry and local regulations
- Experience in cost estimation cost control and procurement processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
