ملخص الوظيفة

Position: Deputy Finance Manager

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
Professional qualification CPA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Experience

Minimum 35 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting within a QCB-regulated exchange house bank or financial institution.
Proven experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Hands-on involvement in year-end closing audits and regulatory submissions.

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge

Strong working knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS).
Sound understanding of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations regulatory reporting requirements and compliance frameworks.
Experience in implementing and monitoring internal controls and financial policies.
Practical exposure to foreign currency transactions liquidity management and exchange house operations is an advantage.

Financial & Analytical Skills

Strong capability in financial analysis variance analysis budgeting and forecasting.
Experience in preparing management reports.

Systems & Digitalization

Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
Practical understanding of finance digitalization automated reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Operational Skills

Demonstrated ability to supervise finance teams review work output and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Capability to mentor junior staff and manage daily finance operations effectively.
Proven ability to act as Finance Manager delegate during absences ensuring continuity of operations and approvals.

Personal & Professional Competencies

High level of accuracy attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under tight regulatory and reporting deadlines independently.
Strong organizational time-management and multitasking skills.

Language & Communication

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
