1EM2506 Senior SW Validation Test Engineer
Giza Egypt (EG)
We are looking for open-minded talented SeniorSoftwareValidation Test Engineers with Electronic background who are focused onsolutions. You will be part of a team testing an Automotive product throughthe definition implementation of the test specification through the fullproduct life cycle until start of production.
Roles Description:
- Contribute to the definition of the software testing strategy as per thedefined overall software architecture.
- Contribute to the definition of the software qualification test strategyincluding regression test strategy.
- Development of the test specification for software qualification testaccording to the software qualification test strategy.
- Implementation of the test cases included in the software qualificationtest specification.
- Execute the test cases on the integrated software using the selectedtest cases.
- Record and report the results of software qualification test.
- Contribute to the initial test results analysis and provide initial RCA(Root Cause Analysis).
- Ensure consistency and bidirectional traceability are establishedbetween software requirements and software qualification test specificationincluding test cases and between test cases and test results.
- Lead and contribute on all the related technical and process reviews.
- Design of the automated test environment and automation of tests.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in electronic engineering /computer engineering/computer science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant scope of activities.
- Professional experience in the development and integration of softwaretests in a National Instruments and Vector HIL environment or similar tools.
- Experience in the development of software and the use of various codinglanguages including C Perl and Python.
- Knowledge of issues related to software testing (according to ISTQB).
- Experience in using any requirements management tools (DOORS/POLARION).
- Experience in using any Defect management tools (JIRA/Change Synergy).
- Experience in A-SPICE process compliance.
- Experience in working with Global OEMs.
- Experience with Eclipse Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code or similarIDEs.
- Good knowledge of agile methods (Scrum SAFe etc.)
- Understanding of MIL/SIL/HIL setups and environments.
- Experience with CANoe and scripting using CAPL.
- Strong knowledge in communication protocols (CAN/Ethernet/LIN/SPI. etc.)
- Ability to lead and coach other team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and debugging mentality.
- Structured and precise way of working have an analytical approach andare also a talent for organization.
- Very good communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
- Very good knowledge of English language German is a plus.
