Social Researcher
We are seeking to recruit a Social Researcher to join the Social Care Department – Social Research Program. The role involves receiving assistance requests conducting social case assessments and providing appropriate support to individuals and beneficiary families
1. Educational Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
o Sociology
o Social Work
o Any related social science field
Preferably holds specialized training certificates in:
o Social research
o Development project management
2. Professional Experience
Preferably at least two years of experience in social work or within charitable organizations.
Experience working with individuals and local communities providing support and assistance according to professional standards.
3. Professional Skills
Good computer skills and proficiency in basic software applications.
Good command of the English language.
Strong skills in effective communication and positive interaction with beneficiaries.
Ability to prepare social reports and studies accurately and in an organized manner.
Good timemanagement and organizational skills.
4. Personal Skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency cases.
Patience active listening skills and the ability to understand beneficiaries’ needs.
Ability to work within a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
5. Preferred Additional Experience and Skills
Skills in conducting interviews with social cases.
Skills in designing questions and gathering accurate information.
Ability to use technical tools and specialized software related to social work.
Strong communication skills with individuals and colleagues.
